The following different policies and terms are subordinate to any terms specifically mentioned on the order page associated with the product or mentioned SPECIFICALLY via email FROM MARTECCI'S. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR POLICIES MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE; AND BY PURCHASING YOU AGREE TO ANY CHANGES THAT MAY TAKE PLACE WITHOUT YOU BEING NOTIFIED OF ANY CHANGE VIA EMAIL OR OTHERWISE.
The simple of the matter is that, wherever possible, if you feel you could have some issues, or if this is your first time to order this scent, you should order the smallest size offered before ordering a larger size, if available.
SAMPLES AND SMALLEST SIZES
All sales are final for Martecci made samples, purse atomizers, or, scents for which only one size option is given. All sales of fragrance samples, purse atomizers, or fragrances for which only one size option is given, are considered final once your remittance has cleared, whether or not the item has shipped. Any developmental sample, or sample set(s) for a scent recreation are also not eligible for return/refund.
Due to health code regulations, all sales of lotions and creams that are available are considered final once your remittance has cleared, whether or not the item has shipped and, therefore, are not eligible for return, refund, trade, or exchange with us under any condition.
With exception to the above, all other "perfumes" or "colognes" that are eligible and approved for return, will incur a non-negotiable 20% restocking fee if barely used or non-used (see below). Customer is responsible for all return shipping and handling in all circumstances and original s&h cannot and will not be refunded, unless an exception is stated on the product order page. you should understand that our shipping and handling costs include the cost of postage, and the expense of labor, packing materials, our advanced automation system to bring fast and reliable service, and expenses related to getting your item to the carrier. also certain items have a built-in non-refundable service charge built into the s&H charge. Any item(s) eligible or approved for returned are required to have a Return Authorization Number (RAN) on the box to help us facilitate the return/exchange or return/refund process.
SORRY, WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY TAKING ANY INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Due to shipping complications, postal issues involved, customs issues, safety concerns, government regulations, and the like, all international orders are final upon payment and we encourage you to purchase the smallest size offered, where applicable, before making a purchase or a larger sized item. Again, all sales of any and all items to be shipped outside the United States are final and are ineligible for return, refund in whole or in part, and no refunds can be granted even if the order does not arrive. If this policy causes you concern, you should request us to send the order USPS registered mail, which usually costs around $12.95 to $15.95 more than the s&h amount that appears in the online shopping cart. This amount (for USPS Registered Mail service) will show up as a separate item on your billing statement. By purchasing Registered Mail service you will be able to track your order, and it will also likely arrive sooner than if you don't. So, if you desire this, email us at martecci@cox.net for an exact quote either before you order or shortly after you place your order online. Again we take no responsibility for any order that is shipped but does not arrive if no request was made for registered mail. You should also note that we may take it upon ourselves to email you about this situation if your order totals around $75 or more, and USPS Registered Mail service was not requested.
Martecci made fragrance items
For United States customers, we have a 30 day return policy on all unused, unopened, new, or barely used Martecci made fragrance items purchased (except for the items mentioned in the previous section) and must be made by the original purchaser only.
For these items/product(s), when meeting the conditions, you must make a request for a Return Authorization for your item/product within the before mentioned days after you received your item(s) otherwise we shall deem that you are satisfied with your purchase and the sale will become final.
If we approve to issue a return authorization, our terms, conditions, or instructions must be agreed to by email and followed, and be included with the returned item. You must contact us and obtain a Return Authorization Number before returning any unused, unopened, new Martecci fragrance item/product(s) to us. Please email us and let us know you are planning to send an item/product back for return/exchange, and we may make a special request and/ or will issue your Return Authorization Number and give you instructions on how to proceed.
All unused, or barely used Martecci fragrance items that are returned must arrive with their original box and if possible, with the protective plastic wrap surrounding the scent container un-removed. Unless told otherwise, eligible returns will incur a minimum 20% restocking fee if returned undamaged.
Additionally, if your refund is made via an online payment processing service, you will also have to incur any processing or other fee/charge they may charge/require. In situations where s&h was waived initially, the full amount that would have been normally charged will be assessed against the refund amount. If you initially paid for the s&h charges, these will not be refunded in whole or in part. Items deceptively obtained and retained fraudulently will be reported to the proper authorities for prosecution. All refund cases must go through 4 tier process to reach completion. Refunds are typically issued within 60 days of reception of an authorized return.
If the item(s) is not approved for return/exchange, we will disregard the package, and the package will be marked return to sender and be returned to you. In the event that the wrong items are shipped to you initially and an exchange is requested, you will need to send packages back via First Class Mail (if within the United States) and First Class International or equivalent (if International), only if we approve the return. IMPORTANT: Attention ("ATTN:") any return package to either the "MFF-Exchange Dept." or "MFF-Store Credit/Refund Dept." with the Return Authorization Number clearly labeled below the address.
The term "perfume" or "cologne" is generically used at times (as here) to designate any ladies or men's fragrance in any fragrance concentration such as eau fraiche, eau de cologne, eau de toilette, etc.
*Certain terms, conditions, and modifications to the above policy may apply or may be made at any time and will be at our sole discretion to do so with or without prior notice. In certain situations, the restocking fee may be waived with an accepted return if the customer desires a store credit, but any other incidental charges, if applicable may still apply.
In accordance with the aforementioned terms and conditions, all Martecci made Original handcrafted "perfumes" or "colognes" and other such scented works, are always 100% authentic and 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!!!
All Martecci made recreation/replication/Version "perfumes" and "Colognes," and other such scented works, are Satisfaction Guaranteed as stated above!!!
Box packaging or the color or style of dispenser issues
Before you order, if you desire a different color/style atomizer/bottle than the one shown or mentioned for a Martecci made fragrance item, you should make your request and receive our response to let you know if and how we can accommodate you. In certain situations, mostly due to shipping concerns and email response issues about such matters, if we can, we will just accommodate your request without contacting you. However, depending on what is desired, there may be an up charge. If we can accommodate you, but an upcharge would be necessary to fill your request, we will let you know about the situation and furnish you with any additional details that may be necessary.
Collectors, fans, and new Martecci clients and customers, you should know that unless otherwise stated in the listing, our pictures of the product (s) are stock pictures of what we are selling. If you are concerned with whether or not the color or design of the fragrance box packaging or the color or style of atomizer/bottle/pump or other dispenser of Martecci made fragrances is the same as in the picture or is as mentioned or described as to color in the product page, you should contact us and resolve your concerns before purchasing.
Where applicable, we manually create each label for each Martecci made fragrance box packaging for Martecci's fragrance creations. If the wording or design is (seemingly) out of alignment, etc. it will not qualify as a defective or physically damaged item, and such phenomena/characteristics should be considered a nuance of the process. All Martecci made fragrances boxes and fragrance containers are surrounded with a scratch, tamper, and moisture resistant shrink wrap to protect the integrity of our product.
All other items come in the original box/container/packaging unless noted in the auction.
DEFECTIVE & PHYSICALLY DAMAGED ITEMS
We would want to act promptly and efficiently in the rare case of a defective item. You must return any defective product (s) within 5 days from arrival for an exchange. In order to do this, you must notify us via email within 5 normal business days from the day you received the product and explain to us as what was “defective” in the order and that you are planning to send an item/product (s) back for return/exchange. You must also obtain a Return Authorization Number before sending your item/product (s) back to us. Accompanying your Return Authorization Number will be any additional instructions or information on how to proceed. Defective products will be replaced and we will assume the shipping cost both ways. All returned "defective” or returned "physically damaged but insured” items must be in the same condition in which they were shipped/arrived, with all of the original packaging, and unused, whether qualifying fragrance items or non-fragrance items. Generally the only way a Martecci made fragrance item/product can be considered "defective" is if for some reason the atomizer or other type pump/cap does not work. Other items will have their own criteria.

when free s&H is offered
Occasionally we offer free shipping and handling on orders of or over a certain amount. Unless otherwise stated, we limit free shipping & handling offers on the purchase of three items or less. Free s&h does not apply if the total after s&h equals or exceeds the qualifying amount; the total before s&h must equal or exceed the qualifying amount. Free s&h offers do not apply to orders placed on any of the three Lay Away payment plans. Where there are issues of return/refund/exchange, purchaser is responsible for s&h in all situations.
